Points earned can then be redeemed as discounts for your next transfer!

What are InstaPoints?
Send. Earn. Redeem. That is the end goal for Instarem points or in short Instapoints.
Instapoints have a monetary value and they can act as a “discount” for your next transfer.
The more money you send, the more points you earn. The more you earn, the less you pay when you transfer money again.
Take note, Instapoints have a validity of up to six months.
PS: Instapoints can’t be transferred to other users. So, if you are looking to share the joy, you might want to share your Instarem referral code instead.
How to earn InstaPoint?
You can earn Instapoints via three methods:
- Sign up
- Send money
- Refer a friend
Sign up and complete your e-verification
When you open an account with us, you get 25 InstaPoints to start your journey. This is our way of saying hello!
If you complete your e-verification in the first 36 hours after you sign up, you will get 100 more InstaPoints! This is a great way to start your account and earn points quickly.
Earn points and save when you send money overseas
If you are looking to transfer money overseas, here’s a list of the minimum value of transaction you need to make in order to earn 1 instapoint.
Refer a friend
Do you have a friend that needs to send money abroad? Time to get some InstaPoints! Oops! We meant time to introduce your friends to the Instarem app.
Instarem is currently offering 200 InstaPoints per referral.
Not sure where to find your referral code?
- Go to your profile screen (first tab on the bottom right)
- Click on ‘Referrals’ and then click on ‘Share referral link’ to share with your friends.
How many InstaPoints can you redeem per transaction?
You can redeem between 100 to 400 points for every transaction. And to use these rewards, you will need to send a certain minimum amount.

How to redeem Instapoints?
We are all about money simple so we’re not going to put you through hoops and loops.
If this is the first time you are sending money abroad, here’s a step-by-step guide to set up your first transfer.
And for frequent senders, you can redeem your Instapoints from the transaction summary page.
At the bottom of the transaction summary, you will see “Apply Code”. Choose “Instapoints” and input the amount you want to redeem.
Don’t forget to click “authorise transfer” to complete your transaction.
