What fees are associated with sending money using Instarem?
We do not charge any transaction fees for sending money. Instead, we apply a small margin on the foreign exchange (FX) conversion. The total amount you send and the exchange rate will be clearly displayed when you make a transfer.

What is FX conversion margin, and how is it calculated?
FX conversion margin is a small amount added to the exchange rate to cover the cost of converting your currency. We are fully transparent and ensure that you get a competitive rate compared to traditional banks. With us, you’ll always see the exact amount before you confirm your transfer, so no surprises!
Are there any charges based on the payment method I choose?
We don’t charge any fees for transferring money, but certain payment methods may incur additional charges from your bank or provider. Additionally, we apply a small margin on the FX conversion, so the overall cost can vary depending on the payment method you choose.
How can I avoid payment method fees?
To help keep costs down, we recommend using one of these payment methods: Direct Debit/ACH, Wire Transfers, or setting up Instarem as the payee.
While card payments are fast, please note that we charge a payment method fee of 2% to 3%, and your card issuer or bank may charge additional fees on top of that. So, it's always best to check with them beforehand.
Will my recipient be charged any fees to receive money?
No, your recipient won’t pay any fees to receive the money. The amount you see when you complete the transaction is exactly what they’ll get—no surprises.
Are there hidden charges or costs when sending money through Instarem?
No, we believe in transparency, and there are no hidden charges. The charges shown before you confirm your transfer cover everything, including the FX conversion margin and any payment method fees if applicable. What you see is exactly what you pay!
