Instarem amaze February Weekend Dining Upsized InstaPoints promotion– Terms and conditions

This Instarem amaze weekend upsized InstaPoints promotion (“Promotion”) is organised by Nium Pte. Ltd. and its affiliated entities (collectively, “Instarem”). The Terms and Conditions set out herein (“Terms”) govern this Promotion.  

 

Please read the Terms carefully before participating in this Promotion. By participating in this Promotion, you agree and consent to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. 

WHAT IS THE PROMOTION?   

1. This Promotion commences during the specific dates (“Qualifying Period”): 

    1. 2 February 2024 at 18:00 SGT and ends on 5 February 2024, 18:00 SGT  
    2. 9 February 2024 at 18:00 SGT and ends on 12 February 2024, 18:00 SGT 
    3. 16 February 2024 at 18:00 SGT and ends on 19 February 2024, 18:00 SGT 
    4. 23 February 2024 at 18:00 SGT and ends on 26 February 2024, 18:00 SGT 

 

2. Participants who make a foreign currency transaction using their Instarem amaze card (“Amaze Transaction”) during the Qualifying Period will be awarded an upsized 2 InstaPoints instead of 0.5 InstaPoints for every 1 SGD spent in its equivalent in foreign currency if the following requirements are fulfilled: 

    1. The foreign currency transaction is at least SGD10 in currency equivalent. For example, if you had spent the equivalent of SGD5 in foreign currency in a single transaction, you will not earn any InstaPoint
    2. The Amaze Transaction falls under at least one of the below Merchant Category Codes (MCC):
      1. MCC 5812- Eating Places and Restaurants
      2. MCC 5814- Fast Food Restaurants
    3.  The payment source linked to your Amaze Card for the transaction is a Payment Card
    4. the foreign currency transaction does not constitute a refund, chargeback or fall under any of the merchant category codes set out in https://www.instarem.com/help-personal/mcc-exclusions/ 

 

3. For avoidance of doubt, Amaze foreign currency spend that fall under other MCCs  will continue to earn (i) 0.5 InstaPoint, if the payment source linked to your Amaze Card for the transaction is a Payment Card; or (ii) 1 InstaPoint, if the payment source linked to your Amaze Card for the transaction is the Amaze Wallet for every 1 SGD equivalent spent in foreign currency on the Amaze Card (as converted to SGD and rounded down to the nearest dollar) as per the terms and conditions available at https://www.instarem.com/terms-policies/amaze-terms-conditions/.    

 

4. All InstaPoints awarded are capped at 500 InstaPoints per eligible Amaze Transaction. 

 

5. All InstaPoints awarded for eligible Amaze Transactions will be credited to your Instarem account immediately. 

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS   

1. Instarem may at its sole and absolute discretion at any time and without prior notice to you: (a) amend or vary the Terms; (b) forfeit, disqualify or refuse to allow any user to participate in the Promotion without having to provide any reasons or justifications; and/or (c) modify, withdraw or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Promotion or any part thereof. Instarem is not obliged to provide any reason, explanation, or clarification to anyone, regardless of their participation in the Promotion. Any decision made by Instarem in relation to the Promotion shall be final and conclusive and any request for appeal review shall not be entertained. 

 

2. Instarem will not be liable or responsible for any issues with any network, software provider or any technical limitations or breakdown that adversely affect your participation in the Promotion.  

 

3. Instarem will not be liable or responsible to you for any claims of loss or damage including loss of business, revenue or profits, or any indirect or consequential loss whatsoever, arising out of or in connection with your participation in the Promotion. 

 

4. Any collection, use and disclosure of your personal data for this Promotion will be in accordance with Instarem’s privacy policy, a copy of which may be accessed on the Instarem app or  https://www.instarem.com/terms-policies/privacy-notice/.
