Terms and conditions 

Refer and Win Referral Promotion (“Promotion”) is brought to you by Nium Pte. Ltd. and all Nium entities globally (formerly known as Instarem Pte. Limited – “Instarem”). Please read these Terms and Conditions before participating in this Promotion. By participating in this Promotion, you, as a Participant, and all the Participant(s) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, and you satisfy all eligibility requirements as provided below:

Who can be a Participant in this Promotion? 

  • To participate in this Promotion, you must have a registered Instarem Individual account.
  • This promotion is applicable to ‘referrers’ who have an approved Instarem individual account in the United States, and ‘referees’ who are residents of any of Instarem’s sending corridors: Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Europe, the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada.
     

How to participate in the Promotion?

  • Referrer(s) must log into their Instarem account, share their referral link with their friends, and ask them to sign up using the link. For more information, see the ‘Steps to Refer Your Friend’ section below.
  • During the campaign period, a referrer can refer as many friends as he wishes to but he will be rewarded for up to 100 USD Prezzee gift card only.
  • Referees can make a transfer of a maximum amount as defined in their region by Instarem on https://www.instarem.com/info/international-money-transfer-limits
     

 Promotion period

  • The Refer and Win Referral Promotion will run from Wednesday, November 15, 2023; 00:00:00 PST until Wednesday, January 10, 2024; 23:59:59 PST.
     

 Promotion gratification 

  • For the Referrer: 
  • The Referrer will receive an email with a Prezzee e-gift card link on his/her email ID (registered with Instarem) for each successful referral. 
  • A referrer gets one e-gift card for all friends who make a successful transaction with Instarem. For e.g.:  
    • If a referrer refers 1 friend successfully, he/she will be eligible for 1 Prezzee e-gift card worth 25 USD 
    • If a referrer refers 2 friends successfully, he/she will be eligible for 2 Prezzee e-gift cards worth 30 USD each.
    • If a referrer refers 3 or more friends successfully, he/she will be eligible for 1 Prezzee e-gift card worth 100 USD. 
  • A “successful referral” is one whereby the referred customer has completed his/her first transaction with Instarem successfully, without any related cancellations, rejections or unpaid transactions within the campaign period.
  • Referrer also gets 200 InstaPoints which they earn from Instarem’s existing referral programme: https://www.instarem.com/referrals-info 
  • Referrer will receive their Prezzee e-gift card between January 30 and February 20, 2024.
  • Instarem is in no way associated or partnered with Prezzee.
  • The gift card is subject to Prezzee’s terms and conditions.
  • Validity of the gift card cannot be extended and a missing gift card won’t be replaced.

For the Referee:

Steps to Refer a friend 

  1. A referrer has to log in and share his/her referral link with friends and family.
    On web – go to ‘Invite & Earn’ menu. On app – go to profile/My Account.
  2. Alternatively, a referrer can copy and paste the personalized referral link from the marketing email sent to the referrer’s Instarem registered email ID and share it with friends and family.
  3. Referees sign up with the Referrers’ referral link.
  4. A referee needs to make their first money transfer with Instarem.
  5. Once a referee makes a successful transfer; the referrer gets rewarded!
     

Instarem’s Refer and Win Referral promotion mechanics      

  • The terms of the Promotion will apply to all the eligible referrers and referees who are registered and approved customers of Instarem. 
  • A “successful referral” is one whereby the referred client has completed his/her first transaction successfully, without any related cancellations, rejections or unpaid transactions within the campaign period. 
  • Only those transactions of referred client(s) that are ‘Paid to Beneficiary’ (Transaction Status: Paid) as on end of Promotion date would be considered for the Promotion. There could be cases where last-minute transfers set up by referred client(s) could face delays due to compliance or other regulatory reasons, or could be subject to delays in regular processing. Please note that such transactions will not be considered. 
  • All transfers need to be within Instarem’s policies and regulatory requirements – Please refer to our FAQs for more information – https://www.instarem.com/help-personal/
     

 Promotion exclusions    

  • In case a Referrer has referred himself (he has created a 2nd account with his own details), it will not be counted in the referral total and such entries will be considered ineligible for the Promotion. 
  • Referee must use the Referrer’s referral link while signing up and may use only one referral link to sign up. 
  • Referee must sign up and complete their first transaction during the campaign period i.e., from Wednesday, November 15, 2023; 00:00:00 PST until Wednesday, January 10, 2024; 23:59:59 PST.
  • Only the Referee (the friend who is referred) will get special rate on their first transfer of 500 USD & above.
  • Instarem employees are not eligible to participate in this offer.
  • This Promotion is not applicable for corporate clients.
  • A Participant(s) can make a transfer of a minimum amount as defined in their region by Instarem on https://www.instarem.com/info/international-money-transfer-limits
  • Transfers by newly referred customers to their referrer’s account would be considered as a quid pro quo and would not be eligible.
  • Transfers by newly referred customers of a referrer to a common account(s) would be considered as a quid pro quo and would not be eligible.
  • Failure to comply with any of these terms and conditions may result in the disqualification of the entry in the Promotion.  
     

  Other terms    

  • In a calendar year, each referrer can earn up to a maximum of 600 USD through successful referrals from Instarem. This amount would be a total of all external vouchers, coupons and InstaPoints redeemed by the user. In case a user has already earned 600 USD, no further coupons or InstaPoints (related to referral promotions) can be redeemed by the user and/or no external vouchers (related to referral promotions) will be given to the user in that same calendar year.
  • Instarem reserves the right to choose eligible entries of the Promotion and will not and does not have any obligations under any circumstances to explain the choice of eligible entries.
  • Instarem expressly reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice to add and/or alter, modify, change or vary all or in part, this Promotion or to cancel the Promotion altogether.
