Refer and earn an Instarem bonus upon every successful referral. As a welcome offer, referees also get a special reward for their first transfer. This Promotion is subject to the terms and conditions below.

Terms and conditions

• This Refer-for-perks Promotion (“Promotion”) is organised by Nium Pte. Ltd. and its affiliated entities (collectively, “Instarem”). The Terms and Conditions set out herein (“Terms”) govern this Promotion.
• Please read the Terms carefully before participating in this Promotion. By participating in this Promotion, you agree and consent to be bound by these Terms and to receive notifications from Instarem regarding the Promotion.

What is the Promotion?

Promotion period

• The Promotion will run from Saturday, August 1, 2026; 00:00:00 UTC until Wednesday, September 30, 2026; 23:59:59 UTC (“Qualifying Period”).

Who can participate in this Promotion?

• To participate in this Promotion, you must have a registered Instarem Individual account.
• This Promotion is applicable to ‘referrer(s)’, being an individual who has an approved personal Instarem account in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Europe, the United Kingdom and Canada, and to ‘referee(s),’ being an individual who is the subject of the referral and is a resident of one of the countries where Instarem facilitates overseas money transfers from.

How to participate in the Promotion?

• Referrer(s) must log into Instarem account, share their referral link with their other people, and ask them to sign up using that link. For more information see Steps to Refer Your Friend below.
• During the Qualifying Period, a referrer can refer as many people as they wish to, but will be rewarded for up to 10 successful referrals only.
• Referee(s) must make a transfer of a minimum amount as mentioned in the table below through the Instarem website or mobile app during the Qualifying Period for the referrer(s) to be eligible for the referral reward.
• Referee(s) can make a transfer of a maximum amount as defined in their region by Instarem on https://www.instarem.com/help-personal/international-money-transfer-limits/

Promotion gratification

For the Referrer:

• Referrer(s) will receive their Instarem bonus once the Referee(s) completes their first transaction of a minimum amount mentioned in the table below (“referrer reward”). The bonus will be sent to their email address (registered with Instarem) for up to 10 successful referrals.
• The referrer reward will be valid for 1 month from the date of receipt.
• The minimum transaction value for Referrer(s) to receive the referrer reward is as set out in the table below.
• Referrer(s) gets a referrer reward for every person they refer during the Qualifying Period, who makes a successful transaction with Instarem within the Qualifying Period (that is, a “successful referral” as further defined below), subject to a cap of 10 successful referrals. He/she will be eligible for one referrer reward per successful referral. For example: If a referrer refers 5 people successfully, they will be rewarded with 5 referrer rewards. If a referrer refers 15 referees and 12 of them are successful referrals, the referrer will be rewarded for 10 of them.
• A “successful referral” is one whereby the referred customer (Referee) has successfully completed their first money transfer with Instarem of a minimum amount mentioned in the table below, without any related cancellations, rejections or unpaid transactions within the Qualifying Period.

For the Referee:

• Referee(s) get discounted fees or a special FX rate on their first transaction (“referee reward”).
• Referee(s) must sign up with Instarem and complete their first money transfer during the Qualifying Period.
• Referee(s) must make a transfer of the minimum amount mentioned below for the Referrer(s) to qualify for a ‘successful referral’.

Steps to refer a friend

1. Referrer(s) must log in and share their referral link with other people. On web – go to ‘Invite & Earn’ menu. On app – go to profile/My Account.
2. Alternatively, copy and paste the personalised referral link received from Instarem via email or notifications sent to your registered email or phone number – and share the link with other people.
3. Referee(s) signs up with the Referrer(s)’ referral link.
4. Referee(s) must make their first money transfer of the aforementioned minimum amount during the Qualifying Period. Once the referee successfully completes their first transfer, the referrer gets rewarded.

Further terms

• These Terms apply to all the eligible Referrer(s) and Referee(s) who are registered and approved customers of Instarem.
• If the referred customer(s) does not make their first transfer of the specified minimum amount, then the referrer will not be eligible for the referral reward.
• Only those transactions of referred customer(s) that are ‘Paid to Beneficiary’ (Transaction Status: Paid) as of the end of the Qualifying Period will be eligible for the Promotion. There could be cases where money transfers set up by the referred customer(s) face delays due to banking processes or regulatory reasons – and could not be completed within the Qualifying Period. Please note that such transactions will not be considered as qualifying for a referrer reward or referee reward as part of the Promotion.
• All transactions must comply with Instarem’s policies and regulatory requirements – please refer to our FAQs for more information – https://www.instarem.com/help-personal/ . If any transaction does not so comply, it will not be considered as qualifying for a referrer reward or a referee reward.
• All bonuses, vouchers, gift cards or other benefits (collectively, “Bonuses”) given are non-negotiable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable for cash or credit. Bonuses must be used as stated. There shall be no refund or exchange for any partially used or unused Bonuses. Bonuses must be used individually and cannot be combined or used in conjunction with other promotions or vouchers.

Promotion exclusions

• If a Referrer(s) has referred themselves by creating a second account with Instarem using their personal details, it will be considered ineligible for the Promotion.
• Referee(s) must use the Referrer’s referral code or personalised link while signing up and may use only one referral code or link to sign up.
• Instarem employees are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.
• This Promotion is not applicable for corporate customers using Instarem’s business account.
• This Promotion is not applicable if the Referee(s) doesn’t make a transfer of the aforementioned minimum amount.
• Transfers made by newly referred customers to their referrer’s account will be considered as a quid pro quo and will not be eligible.
• Transfers made by newly referred customers to a common or joint account with their referrer will be considered as a quid pro quo and will not be eligible.
• Failure to comply with any of these terms and conditions may result in disqualification of entry into the Promotion.

Country-specific terms and conditions

For Malaysia, Hong Kong, Europe, and Canada customers

• Instarem reserves the right to choose eligible entries of the Promotion and will not and does not have any obligations under any circumstances to explain the choice of eligible entries.
• Instarem expressly reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice to add and/or alter, modify, change or vary all or in part, this Promotion or to cancel the Promotion altogether.
• This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with any social media platform.

For the United Kingdom customers

• Instarem reserves the right to choose eligible entries of the Promotion and will not and does not have any obligations under any circumstances to explain the choice of eligible entries.
• Instarem expressly reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice to add and/or alter, modify, change or vary all or in part, this Promotion or to cancel the Promotion altogether.
• This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Facebook, or any other social media platform.
• This Promotion is subject to all applicable laws and regulation. These terms and conditions (and all non-contractual claims and disputes) are governed by the law of England and Wales and by making use of the Promotion, you agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction of any such claims or disputes which arise out of or in connection with this Promotion.
• Instarem shall not be liable to you if you suffer any loss or damage from the Promotion (including without limitation any loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill that arises out of or in connection with the Promotion) or from our refusal to allow you to take part in the Promotion or our withdrawal of the Promotion or any other failure or inability by you to participate in or benefit from the Promotion for any reason. Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits our liability in respect of personal injury or death caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
• We will process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
