Terms and conditions

  • Invite and Earn (“Promotion”) is brought to you by Nium Pte. Ltd. and all Nium entities globally (formerly known as Instarem Pte. Limited – “Instarem”). Please read these Terms and Conditions before participating in this Promotion. By participating in this Promotion, you, as a Participant, and all the Participant(s) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, and you satisfy all eligibility requirements as provided below.

Who can be a Participant in this Promotion?

  • To participate in this Promotion, you must have a registered Instarem Individual account.
  • This promotion is applicable to ‘referrer(s)’, an individual who has an approved Instarem individual account in United States, and ‘referee(s),’ the individual who is the subject of the referral and who are residents of any of Instarem’s sending corridors: Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Europe, the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada.

How to participate in the Promotion?

  • Referrer(s) must log into their Instarem account, share their referral link with their friends, and ask them to sign up using the link. For more information see Steps to Refer Your Friend below.
  • During the campaign Period, a referrer can refer as many as he as he wishes to but he will be rewarded for up to 10 successful referrals only.
  • Eligible referee(s) must make a transaction through the website or mobile app during the promotion period.
  • Referees can make a transfer of a maximum amount as defined in their region by Instarem on https://www.instarem.com/info/international-money-transfer-limits.

Promotion period

  • The Promotion will run from Thursday, January 11, 2024; 00:00:00 PST until Thursday, February 29, 2024; 23:59:59 PST.

Promotion gratification

For the Referrer:

  1. The Referrer will receive an email with Prezzee e-gift card (“Prezzee Gift Card”) link on his/her email ID (registered with Instarem) for each successful referral.
  2. A referrer gets a Prezzee Gift Card for every friend he/she refers during the Qualifying Period, who makes a successful transaction with Instarem, subject to a cap of 10 successful referrals. He/she will be eligible for one Prezzee Gift Card per successful referral. For e.g.: If a referrer refers 4 friends successfully, he/she will be eligible for 4 Prezzee Gift Card. If a referrer refers 20 referees and 15 of them become successful referrals, the referrer will get rewards only for 10 of them.
  3. A “successful referral” is one whereby the referred customer has completed his/her first transaction with Instarem successfully, without any related cancellations, rejections or unpaid transactions within the Qualifying Period.
  4. Referrer also gets 200 InstaPoints which they earn from Instarem’s existing referral programme: https://www.instarem.com/referrals-info.
  5. Referrer will receive their Prezzee Gift Card as per the time frame mentioned below.
    1. After the Promotion is over, referrer will receive their Prezzee Gift Card between March 20 and April 10, 2024.
  6. Instarem is in no way associated or partnered with Prezzee.
  7. The gift card is subject to Prezzee’s terms and conditions.
  8. Validity of the gift card cannot be extended and a missing gift card won’t be replaced

For the Referee:

  1. Referee gets 200 InstaPoints which they earn from Instarem’s existing referral programme: https://www.instarem.com/referrals-info
  2. Referee will get a special rate on their first transfer of 500 USD & above.
  3. Referee must sign up and complete their first transaction during the campaign period i.e., from Thursday, January 11, 2024; 00:00:00 PST until Thursday, February 29, 2024; 23:59:59 PST.

Steps to Refer a friend

  1. A referrer must log in and share his/her referral link with friends and family. On web – go to ‘Invite & Earn’ menu. On app – go to profile/My Account.
  2. Alternatively, copy and paste the personalised referral link from the marketing email sent to the referrer’s Instarem registered email ID and share it with your friends and family.
  3. Referees sign up with the Referrers’ referral link.
  4. Once a referee makes a successful transfer, the referrer gets rewarded!

Promotion mechanics

  • The terms of the Promotion will apply to all the eligible referrers and referees who are registered and approved customers of Instarem.
  • A “successful referral” is one whereby the referred client has completed his/her first transaction successfully, without any related cancellations, rejections or unpaid transactions within the campaign period.
  • Only those transactions of referred client(s) that are ‘Paid to Beneficiary’ (Transaction Status: Paid) as on end of Promotion date would be considered for the Promotion. There could be cases where last-minute transfers set up by referred client(s) could face delays due to compliance or other regulatory reasons, or could be subject to delays in regular processing. Please note that such transactions will not be considered.
  • All transfers must comply with Instarem’s policies and regulatory requirements – Please refer to our FAQs for more information – https://www.Instarem.com/help-and-support.
  • All bonuses, vouchers, gift cards or other benefits (collectively, “Bonuses”) given are non-negotiable, non-transferable, or non-exchangeable for cash or credit. Bonuses must be used as stated. There shall be no refund or exchange for any partially used or unused Bonuses. Bonuses must be used individually and cannot be combined or used in conjunction with other promotions or vouchers.

Promotion exclusions

  • In case a Referrer has referred himself (he has created a 2nd account with his own details), it will not be counted in the referral total and such entries will be considered ineligible for the Promotion.
  • Referee must use the Referrer’s referral code while signing up and may use only one referral code to sign up.
  • Instarem employees are not eligible to participate in this offer.
  • This Promotion is not applicable for corporate clients.
  • A Participant(s) can make a transfer of a minimum amount as defined in their region by Instarem on https://www.instarem.com/info/international-money-transfer-limits
  • Transfers by newly referred customers to their referrer’s account would be considered as a quid pro quo and would not be eligible.
  • Transfers by newly referred customers of a referrer to a common account(s) would be considered as a quid pro quo and would not be eligible.
  • Failure to comply with any of these terms and conditions may result in the disqualification of the entry in the Promotion.

Other terms

  1. In a calendar year, each referrer can earn upto 600 USD in a calendar year through successful referrals. This amount would be a total of all external vouchers sent out, coupons & InstaPoints redeemed by the user.
  2. In case a user already earned 600 USD, no further coupon/Instapoints or external vouchers can be given out to the user.
  3. Instarem reserves the right to choose eligible entries of the Promotion and will not and does not have any obligations under any circumstances to explain the choice of eligible entries.
  4. Instarem expressly reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice to add and/or alter, modify, change or vary all or in part, this Promotion or to cancel the Promotion altogether.
  5. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Prezzee, or any social media platform.
