Instarem’s Refer and Earn Promotion Terms and Conditions: Singapore


Refer and earn 2,000 InstaPoints upon every successful referral. This Promotion is subject to the terms and conditions below.

Terms and conditions

  • This Refer-for-perks Promotion (Singapore) (“Promotion”) is organised by Nium Pte. Ltd. and its affiliated entities (collectively, “Instarem”). The Terms and Conditions set out herein (“Terms”) govern this
  • Promotion.
  • Please read the Terms carefully before participating in this Promotion. By participating in this Promotion, you agree and consent to be bound by these Terms and to receive notifications from Instarem regarding the Promotion.
  • This Promotion applies to Singapore only. Please refer to the general Refer-for-perks Promotion Terms and Conditions for an equivalent promotion that applies in other jurisdictions.

What is the Promotion?

Promotion period

  • The Promotion will run from Tuesday, September 8, 2026; 00:00:00 SGT.

Who can participate in this Promotion?

  • To participate in this Promotion, you must have a registered Instarem Individual account.
  • This Promotion is applicable to ‘referrer(s)’, being an individual who has an approved personal Instarem account in Singapore, and to ‘referee(s),’ being an individual who is the subject of the referral and is a resident of one of the countries where Instarem facilitates overseas money transfers from.

How to participate in the Promotion?

  • Referrer(s) must log into their Instarem account, share their referral link with other people, and ask them to sign up using that link. For more information see Steps to Refer a Friend below.
  • A referrer can refer as many people as they wish to, but will be rewarded for up to 10 successful referrals
    only.

Promotion gratification

  • Each of the referrer and the referee will receive a flat 2,000 InstaPoints (“Referral Reward”), credited to
    their respective Instarem Account, once the referee satisfies the Qualifying Activity described below.
  • Referrer(s) will be eligible for one Referral Reward per successful referral, subject to a cap of 10 successful referrals (that is, up to a maximum of 20,000 InstaPoints per referrer).
  • Referee(s) will be eligible to receive the Referral Reward once only.

Qualifying Activity (“successful referral”)

A “successful referral” occurs, and the Referral Reward becomes payable to both the referrer and the referee, where the referee, within one (1) year of signing up under the referrer’s referral link, does either of the following:

  • makes a single remittance transfer of a value above SGD 1,000; or
  • incurs combined spend of over SGD 100 (or its equivalent) on the amaze Card,

(each, a “Qualifying Activity”). Only one Referral Reward is payable per referee regardless of how many
Qualifying Activities are subsequently completed.

InstaPoints validity and expiry

The 2,000 InstaPoints awarded to each of the referrer and the referee under this Promotion form part of their InstaPoints balance under, and are subject to, the InstaPoints provisions of the amaze Card Terms and Conditions (“amaze T&Cs”) (available at https://www.instarem.com/terms-policies/amaze-terms-conditions/), subject to the following: InstaPoints awarded under this Promotion to referees who reside in a country other than Singapore will expire 6 months from the date of credit. For the avoidance of doubt, InstaPoints awarded under this Promotion to referrers and referees who have an approved personal Instarem account in Singapore will expire 12 months from the date of credit, consistent with the amaze T&Cs.

  • Redemption of the 2,000 InstaPoints

The 2,000 InstaPoints awarded under this Promotion may be redeemed by either the referrer or the referee (as
applicable) in one of the following two ways:

  • SGD 25 discount on a remittance transfer above SGD 1,000 in value, subject to the condition below; or
  • redeemable for Cashback pursuant to Clause 6A of the amaze T&Cs.
    A user cannot redeem the SGD 25 remittance discount referred to above and the 2,000 InstaPoints for SGD 25
    Cashback under the amaze T&Cs in the same calendar month.

Steps to refer a friend

  1. Referrer(s) must log in and share their referral link with other people. On web – go to ‘Invite & Earn’ menu.
    On app – go to profile/My Account.
  2. Alternatively, copy and paste the personalised referral link received from Instarem via email or notifications sent to your registered email or phone number – and share the link with other people.
  3. Referee(s) signs up with the referrer(s)’ referral link.

Further terms

  • These Terms apply to all eligible referrer(s), being an individual who has an approved personal Instarem account in Singapore, and referee(s), being an individual who is the subject of the referral and is a resident of one of the countries where Instarem facilitates overseas money transfers from, who are registered and approved customers of Instarem.
  • If the referee does not complete the Qualifying Activity within one (1) year of sign-up, neither the referrer nor the referee will be eligible for the Referral Reward.
  • Only Qualifying Activity that is reflected as ‘Paid to Beneficiary’ (Transaction Status: Paid) (in the case of a remittance transfer) or as settled (in the case of amaze Card spend) will be eligible for the Promotion. Please note that there could be cases where remittance transfers or amaze Card transactions face delays due to banking processes or regulatory reasons.
  • All transactions must comply with Instarem’s policies and regulatory requirements – please refer to our FAQs for more information – https://www.instarem.com/help-personal/ . If any transaction does not so comply, it will not be considered as qualifying for a Referral Reward.
  • InstaPoints awarded under this Promotion are non-negotiable and non-transferable, save as expressly permitted for redemption under this Promotion and the amaze T&Cs. There shall be no refund, cash payment or exchange for any unused or expired InstaPoints.
  • Instarem expressly reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to add and/or alter, modify, change or vary all or in part, this Promotion, or cancel the Promotion altogether.
  • This Promotion is subject to all applicable laws and regulations of Singapore. These Terms (and all non-contractual claims and disputes arising out of or in connection with them) are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any such claims or disputes.

Promotion exclusions

  • If a referrer(s) has referred themselves by creating a second account with Instarem using their personal details, it will be considered ineligible for the Promotion.
  • Referee(s) must use the referrer’s referral code or personalised link while signing up and may use only one referral code or link to sign up.
  • Instarem employees are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.
  • This Promotion is not applicable for corporate customers using Instarem’s business account.
  • This Promotion is not applicable if the Referee(s) does not complete the Qualifying Activity.
  • Remittance transfers or amaze Card spend by newly referred customers to or with their own referrer, or to a common or joint account held with their referrer, will be considered a quid pro quo and will not be eligible.
  • Failure to comply with any of these terms and conditions may result in disqualification of entry into the Promotion.
