Attention all grown-ups! You thought you left your childhood behind, but Legoland Malaysia is here to prove you wrong. Get ready to unleash your inner child and embrace your wildest imagination with over 60 million LEGO bricks at your fingertips.

With over 15,000 LEGO models, you’ll feel like a tiny mini-figure exploring a giant world. And don’t worry, there’s something for everyone! Whether you’re a thrill-seeker or prefer a more laid-back day exploring the LEGO wonders, Legoland Malaysia has got you covered. So, what are you waiting for? It’s time to let loose and rediscover the pure joy that comes with playing with LEGO.

How big is Legoland Malaysia?

Well, well, well, look at Legoland Malaysia trying to impress us with their over 15,000 LEGO models. But wait, there’s more! Turns out this place covers an area of more than 50 full size football pitches! Talk about wanting to make sure every kid’s dream of building their own LEGO world comes true. I mean, they could have just settled for a soccer field or two, but nope, they had to go big or go home. With all those LEGO models and space to build, who would want to leave anyway?

Where is Legoland Malaysia located?

You might want to sit down for this newsflash, folks. Legoland Malaysia is not, we repeat, NOT in Kuala Lumpur. Nope, it’s located in Iskandar Puteri (formerly known as Nusajaya), Johor, Malaysia. We know, it’s a shocker. Who knew that there were other places in Malaysia besides Kuala Lumpur?

But wait, there’s more! Legoland actually has THREE different sections – Legoland Park, Legoland Waterpark, and Sea Life. All three parks have the same opening hours, with the last entry at 5 pm. However, if you’re not feeling adventurous, always check the official website calendar before packing your bags and heading out.

Address: 7 Jalan LEGOLAND, Bandar Medini Iskandar Malaysia, 79250 Iskandar Puteri, Johor, Malaysia.

Legoland Malaysia opening hours: 10 am – 6 pm daily.

Nearest airports:

  • Johor’s Senai International Airport (20 mins drive)
  • Singapore’s Changi International Airport (55 mins drive)

Lost in a theme park? No way, not with a map in hand! But don’t just settle for any old map. Oh no, you need to step up your game and download the Legoland Malaysia map pdf.

Legoland Malaysia ticket

The Legoland Malaysia ticket prices are like a rollercoaster – they go up and down depending on the package you choose. Don’t feel like committing to a specific package? Just get to the individual section and pick and choose what you want to do. But if you’re a parent who’s always searching for new activities to do with your kids, maybe invest in the annual pass. And if it’s your kid’s birthday, woohoo free entry in their birthday week! But unfortunately, we oversize kids (aka adults) have to pay our way.

Water Park Legoland Malaysia Resort

Oh, hello there, fellow sweaty human. Are you feeling like a wilted flower in this Malaysia heat? Fear not, for salvation awaits you at the Waterpark Legoland Malaysia Resort! With over 20 slides, rides, shows, and water games – you can kiss your heat-induced misery goodbye.

And what’s that I hear? The LEGO wave pool is calling your name?

It’s the perfect place to get wet and wild…and potentially humiliate yourself in front of strangers with cameras. But fear not, my brave adventurer! If the wave pool proves too daunting, there’s always the Build-A-Raft lazy river to float away your troubles.

And let’s not forget the tube and body slides for those seeking a more thrilling aquatic experience. Just remember to hold on tight and avoid any embarrassing wipeouts. But hey, ain’t no shame in that game! When you’re all washed up from your aquatic escapades, take a breather and check out the Joker Soaker or DUPLO Safari play structures. Warning: You will get absolutely drenched!

Feeling peckish or forgot your sunscreen? No worries, my friend! The Beach Grill, Brick Café, and Surf Shop are here to keep you fed and sun protected.

Legoland Malaysia theme park

With over 40 rides and attractions, you thought you’d be in for some serious adrenaline-pumping fun. But hold on to your sweet, sweet childhood dreams, my friend – this park is actually more family-oriented than you think. Yes, you read that right. Right next to the whimsical fairy-tale rides, you’ll find kiddy-sized versions of actual roller coasters. And don’t worry, if you’re still craving that heart-stopping thrill, there are still a couple of rides that will make you question your life choices.

Legoland Malaysia Sea Life

Well, well, well. Looks like Legoland Malaysia Sea Life is trying to lure us in with their underwater creatures.

Of course, it’s not like they’re building bottom-of-the-ocean Lego sets or anything. Instead, they’re showcasing 25 display tanks in 11 habitat zones with over 13,000 sea creatures from 120 species. And get this, you’re not even supposed to touch them unless a staff member invites you to. So, don’t go poking your fingers in the tanks like you’re searching for the prize at the bottom of a cereal box. But hey, at least you can take as many photos as you please – no need to feel like a tourist.

Just make sure to bring your own snacks because there’s no food or drink service on-site- guess you’ll have to improvise and make sushi out of Legos instead. Enjoy!

Legoland Malaysia hotel

Guess what? If you’re too lazy to walk, don’t worry! The Legoland Hotel is just a hop, skip and jump away from the front gate of Legoland Malaysia. There are four different themes to choose from at the hotel: Pirate, Kingdom, Adventure, and NINJAGO. Plus, a special rate on the day ticket to LEGOLAND Parks & Aquariums – exclusively for hotel guests! And let’s not forget about the four restaurants: Bricks Family Restaurant, Di Mattoni Italian Fun Dining, Kai’s Sushi Bar, and Coffee @ Bricks. With all these options, even the pickiest of eaters can find something to satisfy their hunger.

What to eat near Legoland Malaysia?

So, you’ve spent the day at Legoland Malaysia, stepping on Legos and pretending to be a master builder. Impressive.

But now your stomach is growling, and you need some fuel to keep going. Now, you might think that eating in the theme park is too expensive – and it probably is. But fear not, hungry friend, because we have some options for you.

You can head on over to Medini, which is just a stone’s throw away from the park, and find some delicious local food. Or if you’re feeling fancy, there are plenty of cafes and restaurants at the nearby Mall of Medini.

Just remember, your Day ticket only allows for one entry per day, so choose wisely. Or just get an Annual Pass and eat to your heart’s content.

Legoland Malaysia weather

You better plan your trip between December and April unless you want to feel like you’re walking through a sauna. Sure, there might be some rain, but it’ll at least give you some relief from the suffocating humidity.

Believe us, you don’t want to be sweating so much that you end up stuck to your own clothes. And if you’re thinking, “Ah, I’ll just visit during the rainy season for a change of scenery,” let me stop you right there. Not only will you end up with soggy shoes and frizzy hair, but some rides might also be closed due to the rain. So, unless your idea of fun is standing around in wet clothes, we suggest making your plans accordingly.

Legoland Malaysia shop

Well, well, well, isn’t this just a dream come true for LEGO fanatics?

They claim to have the largest selection in all of Asia, so you can buy as many LEGO sets as you want and still not have them all. But, if that’s not enough to get your toy-seeking heart pumping, they even have a variety of LEGO-themed mugs and stationery that will definitely impress your colleagues at work.

With six different physical stores, you can treat yourself to some much-deserved retail therapy. Legoland Malaysia also has an online store – although we should warn you, they only ship within Peninsular Malaysia.

Legoland Malaysia review – is it worth it?

The question on everyone’s minds: is it worth it? Well, let’s see…if you’ve already visited every other theme park on the planet, then maybe it’s not worth your time. But if you’re like the rest of us mere mortals, it might just be a great way to spend a day (or two). Of course, you could always comb through reviews and try to decide for yourself, but where’s the fun in that? And if you’re already in the area, why not make a “by the way” trip to Legoland?

Who knows, you might just have a blast.
